Biography

My name is Sergio Ramirez and I am a fitness specialist from San Diego, California. Fitness and exercise have always been part of my life. I started my first sport at 4 years old, which was karate. From then, I've played different sports throughout my childhood and teenage years to stay active. Going into college, I took on weight lifting, which is where I completely fell in love with the fitness and healthy lifestyle and later decided to take it on as a profession. Four years later, I graduated with a degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State University and got certified to be a trainer by NASM. In my later years in college, I gained personal training experience as an intern and by doing my own personal training with friends and family. Professionally, I've had experience training a wide range of clients, from ages as young as 10 years old to 50+ years of age. Whatever the client's goal is wether it is fat loss, muscle gain, sports performance, or just living a healthier lifestyle, I've designed programs for each individual to help them reach their goals. I've also helped several clients that deal with health and motor problems. Being able to adapt, modify and eventually overcome certain problems, I believe is one of my key attributes as a trainer. I believe everyone can benefit from fitness and exercise. My goal as a trainer is to help any individual that comes to me for assistance reach their goal(s). I enjoy seeing my clients feeling more confident about themselves and changing their habits to live healthier. Fitness literally helped changed my life for the better and I want to help others do the same.
