My name is Austin Heyman. I am a recent graduate from Christopher Newport University with a B.S. in Molecular Biology. I grew up playing soccer and baseball primarily, but have touched on many other sports and activities throughout my life. In high school, I was captain of the cross-country team during my senior year, and I also played varsity soccer for 3 years. This is where I began to truly understand the drive it takes to make great progress. My experience in distance running and soccer make aerobic exercise one of my specialties. In college I played club soccer representing CNU, and also began to understand how to build muscle and develop a workout routine in a gym setting. My love for fitness and the passion I have towards physical and mental health has driven me to become a personal trainer. I want to help as many people as possible by spreading my knowledge on personal fitness and ensuring the learning process is easy and natural. Some of my other specialties on top of aerobic conditioning include strength and endurance conditioning and sports strength and agility training, but I am qualified and willing to help anyone reach any fitness goal they have.
