Defying the odds has become the mantra of her life. After multiple fractures in her lower body as a soldier in the US Army she started a journey of recovery and acceptance by turning to yoga, nutrition and exercise to find real healing and peace.
Jennifer quickly recognized the power of yoga and wanted to share it with others. She spent a month in Costa Rica training. After teaching privately and providing yoga therapy at the exclusive Chamisal Tennis and Fitness Club in Monterey, CA, Jennifer took her yoga practice to the next level. She traveled to Northern India for a 10 week intensive yoga teacher training and received her RYT 500 certification.
Jennifer’s recovery through yoga has also allowed her to indulge in her passion for fitness and adventure. She has taught classes at multiple gyms in Arizona and California. She is an avid runner and adventure racer completing seven competitive marathons and two adventure races in 2016.
